Super Turtle Public Company Limited and Turtle Shop customers participated in a CSR activity “Turtle will be free, let’s join trip to the sea.” and jointly donated to the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Sattahip District, Chonburi
On Saturday, August 24, 2024, the Board of Directors of Super Turtle Public Company Limited, including Admiral Prachachart Sirisawat, Mrs. Kornsiri Pinnarat, and Mrs. Chitkasem Moo-Ming, along with the executive team, consisting of Mr. Ian Craig Longden, Chief Executive Officer together with Miss Jareerat Petsom, Miss Earth Thailand 2021, as well as Turtle Shop customer representatives, participated in a CSR activity called "Turtle will be free, let's join trip to the sea."
The event involved releasing baby turtles back to the sea and cleaning the sea turtle nursery pools to prepare them for their return to the ocean. The purpose of this activity was to contribute to the restoration of Thailand's underwater ecosystem, which is part of the company's sustainability framework. Additionally, it aimed to strengthen good relationships between executives, employees, and Turtle Shop customers through joint social and environmental activities.
On this occasion, the company and Turtle Shop’s customers jointly donated 50,000 baht, collected from donation boxes in all Turtle Shop stores without deducting any expenses, to support the development of the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center. Captain Sirat Limjaroen, Deputy Commander of the Air and Coastal Defense Command, Royal Thai Navy, and Commander Naphat Boonnarakorn, Head of Civil Affairs of the Air and Coastal Defense Command, participated in the ceremony.
