On February 2^nd, at the BTS Skytrain, Phrom Phong Station with Mr. Han Zhiqiang, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Thailand, Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakitkoson, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Sermsak Phongpanich, Minister of Culture, and Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, jointly opened the event "Happy Chinese New Year at the BTS SkyTrain" for celebrating of the upcoming Chinese New Year festival. At the event, there were speeches by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Ministers, and Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTS Group, regarding the cooperation in organizing the event between the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Thailand and BTS Group. Cooperation in tourism, exchange, learning, and cultural connections between Thailand - China.

In addition, the Chinese Ambassador, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, the Minister of Culture, and Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas also participated in the activity of traveling by BTS Skytrain starting from Phrom Phong Station, passing the Turtle shop to the platform to travel to Phra Khanong Station to give souvenirs which was a lucky dragon doll (Jixiang Dragon) for BTS officials and passengers traveling in both stations and ended by jointly giving away 150 auspicious orange sets to BTS passengers around Phrom Phong Station for good fortune according to Chinese beliefs.
